Safety Comes Before A Good Tattoo Design:

Every time someone goes in to get a tattoo done, there should be a number of minimum requirements met by the tattoo salon or parlor. Here is a quick list of the things to look out for. If these things are all done - you can count on the particular tattoo studio to be a good one. If not, think again.

- Ensure that the needle is replaced in plain view of you sitting there. You should actually see the new needed being inserted in to the machine.

- The tattoo artist should be wearing a fresh set of gloves when they start work with you.

- There should be very little mess in the parlor. Things should look clean - much the same as what you would expect from a medical clinic.

- Ensure that the tattoo artist is qualified and that they have been working with people in the past. If you are able to see a selection of their previous work - this would be preferable.

- Make sure that the tattoo artist answers any of your questions before they start. They should be able to address any queries or concerns that you have regarding the tattoo or the tattooing process.
